We are a small, tight-knit community with positive energy and we create new opportunities all of the time for our students to explore.
— Bradford Carpenter, Assistant Principal for Student Life

PRISMS is not just home to a pioneering program in STEM education—it's home to a close and caring community of students and educators. After classes, we play together, make music together, and shoot movies together. We celebrate birthdays and holidays from Thanksgiving to Diwali, and Christmas to the Chinese Spring Festival.

On weekends, we go to NYC museums or hiking in the Sourlands, and serve the local community by tutoring kids or volunteering at a local soup kitchen. Most importantly, over the course of our years here, we build deep, meaningful friendships that span cultures.

Campus and Town

Campus or Town

PRISMS is located on a beautiful campus just two miles from the center of Princeton, one of the nation's most lovely and historic university towns.

This strategic location puts us within reach of many events and resources locally and allows for convenient access to major cultural hubs including New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.

Boarding Life

Day and Boarding

Residential life is at the heart of the PRISMS experience. Over 50% of our students board at PRISMS, where they stay in comfortable residences staffed by three Residential Advisors.

While our day students, of course, go home at night, they are fully integrated into our community and are always welcome to participate in all our events and activities.

Activities & Events

Students join clubs ranging from Audio/Visual Club and Science Bowl, to Yearbook and Model UN. Weekend trips include local trips to the Asian food market and downtown Princeton, to snowboarding and golf outings.

Fitness & Fun

From basketball, soccer, and badminton to running and cycling, students enjoy a variety of after-school athletic activities. Students can choose to play on an interscholastic team or just participate with friends in the afternoon. We also offer access to the local fitness club, where students can work out on their own.

Care & Support

All students have access to health services and our dining program catered by Brock. Faculty advisors mentor small groups of up to eight to ten advisees, ensuring personalized attention and guidance.
