PRISMS Clubs

PRISMS’ Club Program enhances the students’ educational experience by engaging them in leadership skills, teamwork spirit, and personal interests. The students-led clubs give our young scholars the freedom to establish different interest-based groups and an opportunity outside the classroom to learn how to impact the community through motivating and inspiring people. The clubs are entirely student-led but faculty members provide oversight. Most clubs meet on Wednesdays and Fridays; some clubs meet after school or during the weekends.

PRISMS Interscholastic Athletic Program

PRISMS provides a unique opportunity for student-athletes of all skill levels to compete because ours is a “no-cut” athletic program. Moreover, the practice schedule—three days a week for all sports—allows students to balance academics and rigorous athletic training. The ultimate focus of our program is on helping students develop skills and habits that will last a lifetime: leadership, teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, physical health, and athletic skills. PRISMS competes against local independent schools including The Hun School, Lawrenceville School, Peddie School, Princeton Day School, and Wilberforce School.

Interscholastic Teams: Boys Basketball and Soccer, Girls Volleyball, and Girls/Boys Tennis

PRISMS After-School Physical Education Program

PRISMS after-school physical education program promotes health, wellness, and love for physical activity. We encourage healthy habits and a lifelong love and appreciation for exercise. We use sports and activities as tools to teach life lessons such as honesty, teamwork and good sportsmanship. Our goal is to create a fun environment in which students can learn, improve, and acquire specific sport skills. We emphasize participation and fair play, recognizing that exercise and activity can help our students find a healthy balance outside of the classroom.

After-school Activities (in alphabetical order): Aikido, Badminton, Basketball, Cycling, Dance, Ping Pong, Running, Soccer, Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Weight Training, and Yoga.
